l Q: Can it be machine washed?
A: It is recommended to rinse off most of the menstrual blood with a handheld shower head first, then choose one of the following three options:
- Gently rub and wash with a neutral detergent until clean.
- Soak in a basin of water until the remaining menstrual blood is completely dissolved, then gently rub and wash until clean.
- Rinse off most of the menstrual blood, then place in a laundry bag and wash in the washing machine. After washing, pat dry with a towel or place in a laundry bag and spin dry in the washing machine, then air dry in a well-ventilated area. It will be ready for reuse in about 4 hours!
l Q: Will it easily come apart?
A: Holdme Pad uses a special adhesive film at the heat-pressed areas, which is different from the "edge strip" type of heat pressing and has a larger contact area. Holdme Pad and seamless underwear sold in the market are different; Holdme Pad does not have elasticity and will not loosen or crack with prolonged use. It has undergone hydrolysis testing and will not easily crack from washing. We use a special solvent-free hydrolysis-resistant hot melt adhesive film, which lasts 3-5 times longer than general seamless underwear. The lifespan varies based on usage frequency and washing methods, typically lasting 2-3 years without issues.
l Q: Will it easily slide?
A: The fabric of Holdme Pad that contacts the underwear is designed with a special weave and material that grips cotton underwear. If the cotton underwear is more form-fitting, the effect is even better!
l Q: Can it be sun-dried?
A: Any material exposed to sunlight for extended periods will have a shortened lifespan, and Holdme Pad is no exception. However, there is no need for excessive worry. As long as it is not exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods, brief exposure is not an issue. It is best to dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
l Q: What should I do about blood clots?
A: Blood clots are solids that cannot be absorbed. Currently, there are no sanitary pads on the market that can absorb blood clots. We recommend using toilet paper to wipe away any blood clots while using the restroom. This will not affect usage!
l Q: Will bacteria easily grow?
A: Holdme Pad uses a physical antibacterial function that does not weaken over time or with washing.
l Q: What should I do when going out?
A: The replacement time for Holdme Pad is similar to using disposable sanitary pads. After changing, store the used pad in a waterproof bag (the "Good Bag" product is available for purchase). Normal menstrual blood only has a slight iron smell, and any unpleasant odors are typically caused by components in disposable sanitary pads. Holdme Pad materials are antibacterial, so there is little to no odor even after a whole day. Additionally, the "Good Bag" is a waterproof, airtight bag, preventing any odors from escaping into your bag.
